My husband and I, retired educators, have enjoyed gardening and growing "things" all our lives. We coupled these interests with our desire to use wisely the nine acres inherited from his parents. Our goal is to employ environmentally safe, ethical practices in our business. For the past nine years we have avoided using herbicides and pesticides not organically approved. In addition to produce, we grow some native shrubs and perennials. The produce and transplants we sell to local restaurants, cooperatives, individuals, and at nearby farmers' markets.
