Our beekeeping journey began in 2009 with a conversation in our vegetable garden about us not seeing the number of honeybees we had in years past. We run our farm and apiary chemical and pesticide free but are not certified as organic. Bees are very important to us, but we plant for all pollinators and visitors are able to visit us during our Summer Garden Walk and Fall Honey Extraction open houses. During these events, the gardens are open for viewing and during the honey extraction open house we also demonstrate the honey extraction process. Our honey is sold from our home, local farmer's markets/events, and select retailers.
