Description

At Chancellor Farms, Our Animals Dont Do Drugs. Chancellor Farms is a local farm in Cuba, MO about 90 minutes from St Louis. Our animals are raised in the sunshine never receiving hormones, steroids, or antibiotics. Our goal is to produce the healthiest, most nutritious meat so our customers feel good about eating it and feeding it to their families. They feel confident knowing where their food is coming from, how it was raised, what it was fed and how it was processed. Currently we grow: Pastured Chicken, Moved to fresh grass daily. This gives our flocks a clean healthy environment to thrive in. Pastured Pork, Raised only on pasture or in the woods, never on concrete. Available by the whole, half, or by the piece. Fresh Eggs, from hens on pasture, free to roam and eat all the grass and bugs they want. Moved once a week or more. Pastured Turkeys, Available in November. Pasture raised alongside our pastured chicken, moved to fresh grass daily. Chicken & Beef Broth, Our bone broths are made from our own antibiotic & hormone free pastured chicken or cows and simmered for a minimum of 24 hours. We raise our meat chickens seasonally (April-October) during the summer on pasture. We process all our poultry ourselves by hand on the farm in small batches for high quality control and humane handling. Fresh Chicken is available on Processing days from late May-October. We raise our pigs outside where they are free to express their pigness. They are able root around, eating much of their diet in acorns, roots, and other goodies. We also feed them produce scraps from the local grocery stores. After eating their fill, they stretch out on the ground and nap in the sunshine. We process all our pork at a state inspected facility.
