Description
We raise high quality beef and pork at the east end of Jerome county near the location of the Minidoka Japanese Relocation Center of World War 2. Our beef is all natural grass finished Angus and Red Angus crossed with the grass finish genetics of Lowline Angus from Australia. We do not sell animals that have had antibiotics or growth hormones..They are rotational grazed on grass/legume irrigated pastures and fed high quality alfalfa hay in the winter. We calve in late spring on green grass when it is warm and dry for a very healthy stress free start. We use an USDA inspected, family owned processing plant that dry ages for 14 to 21 days before cutting and cryovac wrapping. We also raise pork on our pastures and can process without adding nitrates to the meat. We market with Wilsey Ranch and Mesquite Cattle Co. under the Homestead Natural Foods Label
