Description
Circle h Farm is a family owned and operated organic farm located on Lost Creek, near Dexter, in the Southern Willamette Valley. Run by a brother and sister team, the Circle h name comes from our great-grandparents who owned the land the farm is on. They used a circle h brand on their cattle. We are privileged to be one of the passing generations to enjoy this beautiful land. We are certified organic because we want to give the land the respect it deserves. Synthesized additives don't have a place in the natural beauty of vibrant life. To feed our soil we make our own compost from a local organic goat dairy and grow cover crops during the Spring, Fall and Winter. We practice crop rotations to keep the pests down and plant beneficial flowers for the bees. We grow a wide variety of organic vegetables, fruits and herbs for both our CSA members and farmers market customers. In 2019 we are experimenting with a 1/4 acre Dry Farmed plot where we hope to grow tomatoes, melons, summer and winter squash, dry beans and more! With our climate changing and water becoming an even more precious commodity, farming without supplemental irrigation will only get more important! We sell at the Lane County Farmers Market on Saturday in Eugene and the Dexter Lake Farmers Market in Lowell on Sunday. Our CSA members receive 10% off all purchases made at our markets.
