East 80 Farm is located in Southeast Iowa. We are home to the grazing pig. Kunekune pigs are a heritage breed known for their low impact on the land and their grazing and foraging abilities. Our pigs are free to roam on lush green pastures, enjoy garden produce, hunt for acorns and hickory nuts from the forest, and spend their days in abundant sunshine. In the winter when our pastures are dormant our pigs are supplemented with hay from our own pastures and fed an organic, soy free feed soaked daily with our own added apple cider vinegar and molasses. The exceptional flavor of our pork makes it well worth the time it takes them to grow to size. Approximately 14-18 months. Our pork products are processed in a USDA inspected facility.
