We have Pasture Raised Heritage Hogs known as Gloucestershire Old Spots. We sell purebred and registered breeding stock, and are the only GOSA registered breeder in Florida. We sell breeders, feeders, crossbreeds and meat. All are based on availability. Our breeding stock is specifically chosen for being raised on pasture. Being raised on pasture produces pigs that are happy, healthy and quality meat producers. We do not use breeder crates or farrowing crates on any of our animals. The are treated as humanely as possible. They are given plenty of room to run, play and just be pigs. Our pigs receive NO hormones, NO medicated feed, NO antibiotics and NO chemicals are placed on their pasture. They are fed small amounts of grain that include natural minerals and vitamins that they need to be healthy. We DO NOT feed them any byproducts such at distillary grains, restaurant waste or leftover bread products (which are filled with chemicals and preservatives). Old Spots are know for their flavorful quality of their meat. They do well raised on pasture. They are good mothers producing litters that range from 6 to 14 piglets. Old Spots have a very gentle disposition, and love attention and being scratched. All of these traits make Old Spots a perfect pig to raise either as a feeder pig or as a breeder. The large or small farm holder who wants to improve their quality of meat production will find the Old Spot perfect for their pork producing needs.
