Serving the Lafayette area, our Earthshare Gardens CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) program offers 3 seasonal subscriptions for our homegrown, fresh, local produce. Each Spring, Summer and Fall seasons are 12 weeks long and provide you with a share of our bountiful weekly harvest. Email us for details and membership options! A 501c-3 Non Profit organization, Earthshare Gardens has been growing good food and giving to the community since 2004. Throughout the year we donate fresh, healthy produce to FoodNet Food Bank, provide educational and inspirational experiences to the youth and adults of our community, and supply most of each year's fresh vegetable needs to the families enrolled in our CSA. We leverage the demand for local organic produce, to grow and donate healthy food to those who are most in need. "Our mission is to produce, distribute and promote local wholesome food. Participating in a healthy regional food system while continuing in the tradition of organic Community Supported Agriculture" We are periodically hiring farmers and accepting interns to work on our Community Farm, especially those with experience in community gardening, community organizing, and permaculture or organic gardening experience. Check with us for current opportunities! We are at our best when growing healthy food and bringing people together to better our community. Our 4 acre garden site is the anchor for our growing and giving activities, tended by our Garden Managers. Over our 15 year history, our organization has operated or hosted: community gardens, children's gardens, donation gardens, and a horticulture therapy garden for the H.A.L.T. program of the 15th Judicial District Court, all alongside our flagship Community Supported Agriculture farm. Disclaimer: Earthshare Gardens is not affiliated with Earth Share, which offers fundraising opportunities to support the nationwide network of environmental and conservation organizations and owns the federally registered EARTH SHARE trademark.
