The surprise of having children with food allergies prompted us to explore organic food production in 2009. We both grew up on farms with extensive gardens, so returning to farming was a no-brainer. What a positive difference it has made in our family, and the families of our members. We sell a full range of vegetables and several fruits through our CSA program and farmers market, along with gluten free and keto baked goods and meals made from local ingredients. We maintained our organic certification for 10 years, but currently have the farm on a sabatical! We saw the need in our area for a local foods market- so many farmers work so hard both on and off the farm, and struggle to do it all. We have joined forces with about 25 local farms, offering their fresh produce, eggs, and meats to our community through our store front, Flavor Market.
