Fresh For Life Organics

Fresh for Life is a 40-acre certified organic farm located in the beautiful Central Sands of Wisconsin. Our farm is USDA Certified Organic. Our organic farming system includes: growing a variety of different crops; using cover crops that fix nitrogen and provide organic matter for the soil; crop rotations to inhibit disease and pests; selling locally; and providing habitat areas for beneficial insects and wildlife. We use no animal inputs on our crop such as manure, fish emulsion, bone or blood meal, etc. We started our farm from a personal interest and knowledge of the health benefits available to everyone from eating fresh organic vegetables. We are encouraged by the many Medical Doctors and Scientists who stand by the healing properties of eating healthy plant-based diets that minimize or exclude animal-based foods such as meat, dairy, and eggs as well as processed and refined foods. We advocate for the use of sustainable practices in the care of the land, the environment and rural communities. And finally, we strive to be good stewards of our land, so that this generation and future generations may continue to be nourished by the healthy food that we produce. Through our CSA program, farm stand and farm markets we provide healthy locally grown vegetables for you, while at the same time, you are supporting organic farming practices that are healthful to the local community and the environment. Fresh for Life seeks to create awareness of healthy eating, rural communities and farm realities, and to stress the importance of farms in the fabric of our society.
