Now accepting applications for 2018 Farm and Food Education Fellowship Allegheny Mountain Institute (AMI) is an educational non-profit organization with the mission to cultivate healthy communities through food and education. The vision of AMI is a thriving network of collaborative, vibrant communities who value the connection between food and health. AMI's 18-month Fellowship prepares and funds individuals to become teachers and ambassadors for a more vibrant and accessible local food system. AMI Fellows go on to become local food coordinators, farmers, school garden facilitators, market farm managers, food systems educators, and advocates for sustainable food systems. Located in the beautiful Allegheny Mountains, AMI focuses on growing fresh produce using sustainable and regenerative agricultural practices. Open houses will be held on July 21st and September 15th.
