Chandler's Sugar Shack is a licensed producer of pure Maine maple syrup. We are a small, family owned and operated maple business. Drawing from a background in forestry and engineering, our goal is to generate the highest quality maple products available. With nearly 3,000 taps in place, we take pride in the maple syrup that we produce. The maple sap is collected in the spring from modern tubing systems and traditional buckets. Our maple syrup is boiled in a wood-fired evaporator at our sugar house in Kossuth Twp., Maine. It takes approximately 40 gallons of maple sap to produce 1 gallon of maple syrup. Pure Maine maple syrup is a healthy sweetener. It has more nutritional value in comparison to other sweeteners used in baking, cooking, or as a topping. Maple syrup also has one of the lowest calorie levels. And best of all, maple syrup is all natural with no additives. Pure Maine maple syrup is truly "Sweet by Nature"!
