Description

Casey Farm is a 300-acre historic farm located on the west passage of Narragansett Bay. Owned by Historic New England, it is a working farm raising vegetables, small fruits, herbs, and flowers for a 150-member Community Supported Agriculture program. The farm is home to flocks of heritage-breed chickens and turkeys, 2 pigs, 4 ducks, and 2 bunnies. Casey Farm hosts the Coastal Growers' Farmers' Market on Saturdays beginning mid May through October 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and is open for guided tours on Tuesdays and Friday afternoons and Saturday mornings beginning in the spring through mid October.
