Our main focus is growing happy, healthy, great tasting pasture poultry. We raise Freedom ranger chickens, which are from breeding stock that was is imported from Burgundy and Brittany France, derived from an American and European heritage breed that was developed in the early 1960s to meet the high standards of the French Label Rouge Free Range program. They were bred to strive in foraging and pasture environments and produce tender, succulent meat with more yellow omega 3 fat and less saturated fat than fast growing breeds. This is not your grocery store chicken; you can truly taste the difference. We also sell fresh free range eggs from our small laying flock. We do not use any antibiotics or growth hormones in the raising of our chicken, or chemical herbicide or pesticide in the chicken pasture. We also process our chicken right here on the farm. WE ARE NOW TAKING SPRING CHICKEN PRE-ORDERS. Our goal weight this year is 4.5lbs. Pre-order price is $3.00 per/lb. Regular price is $3.50 per/lb. Processing days will be June 20 and August 8.
