The Elliott family has been farming in Percilla, Texas since 1854. The farm ran by our branch of the family is on land originally settled by Samuel Sylvester Bryan Elliott and currently farmed by Samuel, Joanne, Nathan and Ethan Elliott. We raise southern peas both purple hull and cream peas. Elliott Family Farm is a trasnitional farm meaning we are transitioning to organic. No chemical fertilizers are used and absolutely no pesticdes. Southern Peas are sold fresh shelled by the gallon, quart and pint, or unshelled by the bushel basket. Unshelled peas are upick. Product is shelled forced air cleaned and bagged. The customer should wash the product with clear water before using or preserving. We are now grinding whole grain flour and meal. Our feature product is Blue Cherokee cornmeal. This corn meal makes superior cornbread. Our other featured product is whole grain rye flour. Other grains are available. We frequently out source inventory when we are out of our own grains. No GMO's, no chemicals. Follow the progess of this years crop on FB Elliott Family Farm.
