A Bar N Ranch is a family-owned wagyu cattle operation on 5,000 acres of land in Sherman and Celina, Texas. Since 2008, we've been raising superior full-blood Japanese genetics crossed with the best Angus cows we can find. The result is beautifully marbled beef with an exquisite and buttery flavor. Our Ranchers go above and beyond to ensure our cows are happy and well-cared for. We track the genetics in every cow to ensure consistency. Our cows have a special formulated, all-natural diet crafted by our in-house Nutritionist who has studied Japanese feeding practices since 1994. We never feed our cows antibiotics or hormones, and the cows never leave the state of Texas. They are born, grown, and fed in the state. Wagyu is healthier than other kinds of beef because it is intensely marbled with softer fat, it has higher percentages of monounsaturated fats, omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids, and is lower in cholesterol than commodity beef.
