Four Frog Farm

Four Frog Farm is a 10 acre vegetable farm located east of Sacramento in the Sierra Foothills. At 1300 feet, and just one hour from Lake Tahoe, we live and farm in a beautiful, though rocky, environment... Andrew Meyers, 26 years old, started Four Frog Farm about 4 years ago with the intention of providing local, certified organic produce to their community and neighbors in Nevada County. Now in our fourth year, we market our produce through a 100 member CSA, 5 farmers markets in the greater Nevada County Region, and also on a wholesale level to our local grocery stores We farm over 60 types of fruits and vegetables, on our farm. Many of the varieties are heirlooms, and all of them are delicious. Our vision includes farming without inputs of any kind in the future; growing our CSA and farmers' markets customer base, as well as becoming a vital force in our community and beyond in terms of educating the general populace about the importance of and need for small farms in each and every community.
