Description
Fairgate Farm is a community, education-based farm in the West Side of Stamford, CT. Fairgate Farm is an urban farm, and practices organic, sustainable farming methods on about a 1 acre lot. We welcome people to volunteer at the farm in return for produce. We host a wide variety of workshops, lectures, and other community based events. We run a farm stand on Thursdays and Saturdays from June to October. We also compost at the farm, and encourage everyone to bring food scraps and other compostable materials for us to compost year round to be worked backed into the farm, and our community! Join us as we strive to bring good food, community, health and wellness to the forefront of Stamford!
