COASTAL FARMERS has been operating since 2008 We are a bundled farm CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) program building a local food system here on the Outer Banks with the support of communities, coastal and mainland. Our farms are located in surrounding counties Pasquotank, Camden, Currituck, Knotts Island, Dare, and Hyde. We offer YEAR ROUND CSA opportunities!!! We offer U pick opportunities, educational clinics, and food preservation education. Our participating farms practice sound land stewardship techniques. We do not approve or promote the use of any GMO products or chemically drenching agriculture practices. We support family owned and operated farms. We assist and support new farm operations and establishment. We support NC agriculture. We are all NC products. If its not out of the back yard you wont get it from us. We are building 2 new market farms in Currituck and Hyde counties. We depend on local consumer support through membership and markets to reach our food security and sustainability goals.
