Description
Cedar Sol Hydro Farm is a family owned and operated farm located in northern Michigan's Leelanau County. Cedar Sol produces healthy, quality foods through sustainable agricultural practices. Cedar Sol offers out of season strawberries from July through autumn. Vegetables include lettuce, spinach, tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, basil & other herbs, kale, chard and more. The Roadside Market also includes goods from other local farmers including sweet corn, apples, and pumpkins. Cedar Sol now has a Taco Stand at their Roadside Market serving tasty, authentic tacos with specially made hot sauces and pico de gallo. Individual salads, too. Everything is fresh, every day! Cedar Sol Hydro Farm is also Michigan's distributor for Hydro-Stacker, a USA-made vertical hydroponic grow system. We sell one-stack individual systems all the way up to commercial-sized farms. We grow over 20,000 plants this way! By using Hydro-Stacker hydroponic system to grow our fruits and vegetables we minimize our water consumption while significantly decreasing the amount of growing land required. This system also allows for us to provide a unique and pleasurable U-pick experience to the public.
