Description
Blanchard Mountain Farm is a small certified organic farm in Bow, WA, between Bellingham and Mount Vernon, about 1.5 hours north of Seattle. We are located off Chuckanut Drive, near Edison, in the beautiful Samish Flats of Skagit Valley. We grow diverse vegetable crops and rhubarb along with several herbs and edible flowers with an emphasis on Italian greens and produce. Our farm grows tomatoes, a variety of chicories, lettuces, brassicas, root crops, green beans, cucumbers and summer and winter squashes. We are especially passionate about growing eggplant! In addition, we experiment with growing a few specialty crops each year such as unique herbs, native berries and flowers. We also grow some summer cut flowers for our farm stand and lots of beautiful dried flowers for sale in the fall/winter. We sell our produce through an on-farm produce stand, to local restaurants (ex: Chuckanut Manor, Terramar, Tweets, Farm to Market Bakery, Keenan's at the Pier) and wholesale through the Puget Sound Food Hub.
