Description
We are a solar powered (off-grid) CSA farm of forty acres, but cultivate less than one acre. By using French intensive methods in unheated hoophouses that shelter our crops from the extremes, and planting crops that can tolerate the seasonal temperatures, we can deliver fresh, local veggies (primarily leafy greens) and herbs to our subscribers' homes or workplaces all year. We currently have a waiting list, and are consequently teaching people in our area to grow their own fresh veggies and share with the local community. We try to pass on cancelled weekly deliveries to the patient folks on our waiting list.
