Description

Fledging Crow is a thriving first generation farm in the Adirondack Park of Northern New York. The owner/operators, Lucas Christenson, 28, and Ian Ater, 30, are lively and entertaining guys with a passion for great food and hard work. Dedicated to the production of vibrant and nourishing food, they strive to offer a healthy product to all their customers throughout the Adirondack and Champlain regions. The farm is known for its unbelievably flavorful gourmet and specialty salad mixes, as well as a variety of diversified vegetables, including: kale, chard, pac choi, broccoli raab, heirloom tomatoes, sugar snap and sugar sprint peas, green and purple beans, carrots, parsnips, beats, celeriac, and much more! The produce is available through the CSA Program (http://fledgingcrow.com/CSA/), at the farm (Keeseville, NY), and at farmer's markets in Saranac Lake, Lake Placid, Keene Valley, and at the North Country CO-OP in Plattsburgh. If you are looking for a way to incorporate delicious, healthy, local food into your workplace, ask about our Worksite CSA Program. For students and aspiring farmers, we have a limited number of internships available. Please contact us via email for more information.
