Description
We are a small family owned & run Alpaca farm in South Central Kentucky where we breed and raise registered huacaya alpacas. Shearing is done in the spring, usually in April. After shearing we review the fleece and decide how to process it or to sell it raw so a variety of products will be available. We also do fiber processing in small batches and will at times have carded batts. In our online store at www.kyfarmstore.com you can also find a varied supply of home spun and mill spun yarns from our fiber, handmade/crafted items in our sewing and embroidery shop and Alpaca Fiber products produced by New England Alpaca Fiber Pool and Frog Creek Socks. At this time the majority of our herd is fawn with some white, brown, black and beige If you live or are visiting in the area, consider a farm visit to learn more about alpacas. Farm tours are by appointment only , so please respect our privacy and call ahead so we can plan a day and time that works for everyone.
