Arise & Shine Gardens is a small-scale veteran owned and operated farm in Clermont County Ohio. A&S Gardens focuses on growing herbs and flowers utilizing organic and restorative practices in order to offer the highest quality product to local consumers. After completing the Turner Farm's Veteran to Farmer apprenticeship program in early 2019, owner and operator, Kate Martin, is striking out on her own to continue to provide quality herbs and flowers to the Ohio Valley and Northern Kentucky regions. The farm focuses on high end wedding flowers, to include arranging and event work, as well as unique and uncommon herbs not typically found in most gardens, along with a few favorites. Kate is also a proud member of Homegrown by Heroes in support of veteran farmers. Kate works full time on the farm and manages all aspects of the business. Coming from a family of farmers, she has always had a desire to return to the land, however, Kate decided to follow that dream after her first grandson was born in 2016. She hopes to provide quality herbs and flowers to her local community, educate them on the importance of healthy food and restorative farm practices, but most importantly, inspire others that it is never too late to follow your dreams.
