Description

For the past 40 plus years, I have been growing and harvesting many wonderful and exciting herbs! The wonderful, healing, world of herbs has never ceased amazing me as to how small, delicate looking, wild flowers, and pesky weeds have antioxidants and disease fighting properties. Herbs on their own can heal deep wounds, ( such as knife and gunshot), stop bleeding, take away fevers, stop colds and flu from getting worse, bring down a person's blood pressure, even help with diseases such as cancer, diabetes, and heart problems and even control our weight! And, of course, herbs are gluten free! I have extensive knowledge in the use of herbs and use only the safest herbs! There are a lot of herbs out there that are said to do one thing or another, and, it may be true. But, you need to remember that they are used for only a certain period of time and only for a certain situation, not every day. So, I have researched the most safe herbs to use for the public. There are many different herbs that can be used for most any situation, and, I use just those herbs that are generally safe with no problems for most people to use. I feel that most anyone can use my herbal formulas with confidence of not being harmed. This is also the reason why you may find some of my herbal teas a little expensive. I don't just throw a bunch of herbs together and package them up and send them off. No, I make sure that what is in my teas and other items is safe and recently dried. It takes time to do things right! CAROLINA HERBS!! are grown using chemically free, sustainable agricultural practices, and some are wild crafted. All, however, grow the way nature intends them to. Since this is THE most natural way to grow herbs, there is no need to have pesticides or herbicides. Since herbs at CAROLINA HERBS!! grow where and how nature intends, they are organic on their own . CAROLINA HERBS!! are also of course, non hybrid- non GMO. There are also NO ANIMALS OF ANY SORT on the property. I use vegetation compost, not animal manure. When I plant herbs, I do not use the soil from the ground. The soil I use is 100% organic and from there, I use a vegetable compost to feed the herbs at regular intervals. The herbs are grown outside where there is plenty of natural sun and water, which NC gets abundantly. Don't be fooled by these so called herbalists who have more than 5 pounds of herbs for sale. They are commercial farmers, which mean that their products are harvested with machinery, which means that the herbs are getting fuel oil residue on them as well as fumes from exhaust. Not to mention dirt and too many other peoples hands on your food that you eat. And don't forget that they have to use a quick drying process that takes out all the oils that make the herb what it is. Also, realize that when these farmers are done harvesting pounds and pounds of their herbs, they have to store them somewhere for long periods of time, often, more than a year. Quality and freshness is not something you will get. Smaller farmers like CAROLINA HERBS!! have very small plots of herbs that are manageable and are handpicked and slow dried to preserve as much of the oils in the herbs. And usually, only one person does everything! All the herbs that I grow are hand harvested, with no machinery involved, and, extra care is taken with the harvesting and drying all of the herbs. I do NOT use the heat method (including dehydrators) to dry herbs. I put a lot of work into the growing, harvesting, drying and storing of my herbs. ALSO, My tea bags are of non woven fabric, eco friendly and safe to use. Brewing resistant, boiling will not break the tea bag I guarantee all of CAROLINA HERBS!! products. Your satisfaction is important to me! Your positive reviews help other people to find good, safe herbs as well. If there is ever a problem with your order PLEASE email me first. I hope you LOVE my herbs as much as I do! NOTE: For the most part, unless mentioned otherwise, each tea bag will make 2 to 3 cups of tea. If it is a root herb such as burdock or nettle root, it is heavier, thus an ounce would be about a quarter of a sandwich bag. Comfrey, plantain and nettle leaves, etc, would be in a quart size bag. Keep in mind that ALL MY HERBS are dried. I do NOT sell plants, seeds or fresh herbs. PLEASE be sure that the NAME and ADDRESS IS CORRECT. PLEASE NOTE: Regarding my teas and herbs that I sell; although I personally have benefited from the use of herbs and, people years ago relied on herbs to help heal them or make them feel better, these statements have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease or health condition.
