Description
Our diversified, organic vegetable farm was established in 2008 and operates using the Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) model. We grow upwards of 100 varietes of vegetables on a little over 2 acres, striving to improve the ecosystem value of the land and soil as we maximize the health of our produce, and in turn, our community. We are proud to be a female-run farm and firmly value and uphold the principles of friendship, conservation, and community service. Our CSA season lasts 25 weeks, from late May or early June into November. We offer two share sizes. Depending on your vegetable eating habits, a small share ($475) is enough for 1-2 people per week and a large share ($825) 2-4 people per week. We aim to include an average of 8 varieties of fresh, seasonal vegetables in your share each week. We offer two pick up locations: Friendship Farms on Tuesdays or Fridays from 4:30-6:00, and Mercy Urgent Care at Sylvania & King* on Tuesdays from 5:00-6:00. *Please add $25 to your total share cost if you choose this off-farm pick-up location* Please don't hesitate to contact us with any questions or if you would like to come visit our farm!
