Description
We have been growing farm produce in a sustainable style since 1728. We specialize in tomatoes(over 40 types), herbs, greens, squashes, root crops(Especially the Danvers carrot), cut flowers, honey, and compost production. All crops are grown in fields covered with compost each year using no herbicides or pesticides. Our farmstand is open from early April til Halloween. We have also sold at farmers' markets in Marblehead and Salem since their inception. We are planning to start our CSA this year (2012) and will be offering "first choice produce" on Friday afternoons for our CSA clients. We supplement our own naturally grown produce with sweet corn, strawberries, blueberries, peaches, apples, and pumpkins from other local farms. Our greenhouses are brimming with flowers and vegetable plants April through June and we sell horticultural products throughout the year. We have farm animals, walking trails, and educational programs offered. Come visit a "Farm for All Seasons" in the heart of the Salem Village Historic District, where witches once walked!
