Barking Deer Farm

We are small family owned & operated farm located on the island of Molokai that practices organic & sustainable agricultural techniques. All of our vegetables at Barking Deer Farm are grown by with what we like to call "beyond organics" or through the use of "biological farming." These sustainable farming practices emphasize building & feeding the soil not just the plants. We do not rely on bagged organic fertilizer, but rather utilize time-old techniques such as cover cropping, crop rotation, & composting - all methods that encourage microbial life in the soil. This produces a healthy living soil which in return produces nutrient dense vegetables. Our Motto: Healthy soil= Healthy Plants= Healthy People All of our artisan products are made with the freshest ingredient possible from local & organic sources-many from our very own farm! Each product is handcrafted in small batches to ensure the greatest quality. All products are packaged & beautifully decorated to provide that unique gift from Hawaii.
