Hanging Gate Farm

Hanging Gate Farm is a small family owned farm in Walker, LA. We begin with extremely healthy 1 day old chicks and raise them in a humane, clean environment. They live stress-free, happy lives. They live on fresh pasture, which is grown without fertilizers and chemicals. We never give them antibiotics or hormones - we don't have to! At Hanging Gate Farm we process all of our chickens ourselves right here on the farm. The birds are never shipped out, they live with us the whole time. Our processing facility is inspected and approved by the Louisiana Department of Agriculture & Forestry. We are a certified product of Louisiana. We process about once a month. Birds are sold on a "first come, first serve basis." We do take pre-orders. We do deliver within a reasonable distance. We only provide to the state of Louisiana. Fresh healthy chicken is our main objective to our customers. Looking forward to hearing from you soon!
