Grand Army Farm LLC, is an 84 acre in the beautiful rolling hills of Labadie, MO overlooking the Missouri river. We specialize in producing fresh wholesome meat and eggs. We aim to provide the freshest products to the public and local chefs. We treat our customers as though they were our guests on a farm day picnic. We pride in ourselves for bringing fresh meat to everyone's table, with a brief animal to kitchen time, often less than one week, sometimes even on the same day! We raise healthy plump meat rabbits and Texas A & M quails, bred for their succulent white meat. Our eggs come from three sources: free range hens and ducks and quails. We have recently been awarded a grant from Slow Food to raise American Buff geese, the only true American born goose breed and Silver Appleyard Ducks, a slower growing but tastier duck than the common commercial Peking duck. Come check out our booth at the Schlafly's Farmer's Market on Wednesday night 4-7 pm and The Tower Grove Farmer's market on Saturdays, 8-1230pm. Give us a try and we would love to hear from you! In addition to the meat and egg business, we also raise angora goats and rabbits for fiber. We occasional offer shearing lessons, fiber and dye workshops We provide farm tours strictly by appointment in the spring and fall.
