Description

We have about a 7 acre farm in which we grow about 1 acre of organic vegetables. When in harvest we will have green beans, beets, cabbage(green and red), swisschard, corn(popcorn and sweet), cucumbers, egg plant, kohlrabi (green and purple), leaf lettuce, muskmelon, onions( red and yellow), sweet peppers(green, red, yellow bell), hot peppers(cayenne and jalapeno), potatoes(red and bakers), pumpkins(mini, baking and carving), radishes, squash(acorn, buttercup, butternut, spaghetti, sweet dumpling, yellow crooked neck), tomatoes, watermelon, and zucchini. We will be growing herbs this year which include basil, cilantro, dill, and parsley. For the late summer and fall will have indian corn and a pumpkin patch including ornamental gourds. We also sell Natural Honey(clover), natural eggs, beeswax candles, Sorghum syrup, Maple syrup. We also have a unique stone collection that spans the entire farm made up of over 500+ tons with dates going back to the 1800's with civil war vet names and pioneer names. Our farm was homesteaded in 1835. You can see the history of previous owner Virgil E. Reed, civil war vet, and his unique rock collection. We will open around the second weekend in June and close November 1. Our hours we will be open Saturday 9-5 and Sunday 1-5 and other times by appointment. I will update weekly hours soon.
