Description

In September 2016 we moved from a small in-town property to this amazing, 5 acre property. We have a lot of work to do to get our dream farm up and running. There are no out buildings, no fences, no existing garden area...just a lot of land and a great house!! In June of 2019, we moved again, this time just a half mile down the road. We now have an amazing 100 year old farmhouse, a 100 year old peg and beam barn and 8.25 acres. We have woods, a creek, some mature fruit trees, a couple grape vines, a strawberry patch and asparagus patch! We are so excited to see what will come next! Follow us to stay up to date with our progress. We're on Instagram (@back_to_natural_farm) and Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/grown.naturally/). We offer all-naturally grown vegetables, restaurant quality microgreens, farm fresh pastured eggs, and a complete line of all-natural vitamins & supplements, weight management, skin care and non-toxic household cleaners. In the future we are planning to add pastured poultry products, pastured pork and pastured lamb products. We also have gardening, cooking and preserving classes available. We will also be offering farm tours once we get going. Our Farming Practices We are all-natural and non-GMO, and we also use as many Regenerative Agriculture Practices as possible. We will be implementing more as we go. What is Regenerative Agriculture? Regenerative Agriculture is a system of farming principles and practices that increases biodiversity, enriches soils, improves watersheds, and enhances ecosystem services. Regenerative Agriculture aims to capture carbon in soil and aboveground biomass, reversing current global trends of atmospheric accumulation. At the same time, it offers increased yields, resilience to climate instability, and higher health and vitality for farming and ranching communities. The system draws from decades of scientific and applied research by the global communities of organic farming, agroecology, Holistic Management, and agroforestry.
