Description

Farm Happy is a 1-acre market garden in Jackson, WI run by first generation farmers, John and Jennifer. Together they specialize in the production of microgreens, leafy greens, seasonal fruits and vegetables, maple syrup, honey, mushrooms, duck and chicken eggs. Farm Happy is proud to provide their local community with high quality food. Starting from a volunteer experience at Growing Power, Jennifer quickly realized her purpose in life was to grow food. Jennifer became a hydroponic/home-brew store manager followed by a honey bee research scientist. She had always hoped to own a farm but didn't have access to the land...until she met John. John was a legendary whitewater kayaker prior to putting down the paddle and picking up the wheel-hoe. His interest in gardening led him to Jennifer. With her knowledge and his manpower, they turned his parent's backyard from a horse pasture into Farm Happy! Farm mascot, Beau, is their 10-year old rescue dog who serves as a constant source of happiness. You can find him on a perpetual Easter egg hunt, sun bathing or stalking whatever lives under the silage tarps.
