Description
Established in the Fall of 2016, Black Finger Farm is a bio-intensive, organic, community focused farm providing local, organic produce and wild-harvested goods to the greater Tampa Bay area. CSA Memberships are available. We grow approximately 35 different vegetables and fruits on 1 acre of cultivated land. To build and maintain our fertile soil we use compost, organic fertilizers, and cover cropping - always free from pesticides, herbicides, and synthetic fertilizers. Weve adopted small scale farming techniques in combination with lo-till practices to produce higher quality, healthier plants, while enhancing the proliferation of biological life in our farms ecosystem. We pride ourselves in growing the cleanest food possible, controlling our weeds using hoes, flames, and hands - hence where our name was adopted from, dirty, black fingers after a long days work!
