Description
Dakota Ridge Farm was established in 1990 when we obtained our first llama, Dakota, as a wedding present from Gary to Katrina. Since then, many more llamas have arrived. We have established a 4-H Club, and now offer llamas for sale, stud service, boarding, leasing, grooming and training services. We frequently attend regional and national shows, as well as state and county fairs. Our farm is proud to have collected numerous awards and ribbons. Katrina has also been nationally recognized for her prize-winning photos of llamas. Please explore our site to learn more about our farm, our animals and our passion for llamas! Located in beautiful upstate New York, just south of Saratoga Springs, Dakota Ridge Farm is situated on 42 acres of woods, creek side, ponds and pastures. Our llama herd is housed in five llama barns and crias (baby llamas) can often be seen in the spring and fall. Dakota Ridge Farm hosts our popular hike/tour with llamas available Spring and Fall (an RSVP is necessary as weekends are booked up quickly with different events). We also offer farm tours and educational visits
