Early Bird Farm

We are a small farm in the Puyallup River valley near Tacoma, WA. At Early Bird Farm, we grow a little bit of everything, and it all works together in ways that mimic what nature intended. Our chickens rotate around the pasture in mobile coops, fertilizing the fields for the vegetables we grow. Many of these vegetables rely on our honeybees for pollination, and our berries, fruit trees, and flowers ensure that the bees have plenty of nectar all season long. Cover crops and crop rotations ensure that the soil gets the rest and rejuvenation it needs. Everything is grown without synthetic chemicals of any kind and that's why it all tastes so good! In 2015 we are offering a unique CSA where members can enjoy the best of fresh, local eating for 20 weeks starting mid-June. Unlike a typical CSA, we set up a farmstand in a neighborhood backyard and give you more choice in your weekly share. Everything is grown right here on our farm, including berries and fruit, with optional egg and flower add-ons. CSA members are invited to visit the farm and pick-your-own raspberries and more during the peak season. Be sure to visit us at the Capitol Hill farmers market every Sunday in Seattle!
