Description
At Fallowfield Farms we desire to bring nutrient dense foods to our community while rebuilding our soils, and giving our animals the best life possible. This means all of our animals are raised on pasture. Our meat chickens and laying hens are fed Non-GMO feed from a mill in Lancaster PA, and our cows do not get grain at all. We raise many species of animals to work together the way they do in nature. Our animals are a variety of heritage breeds, as well as Cornish Cross chickens. We breed our Shetland sheep, and Large Black Hogs on the farm. The hogs farrow in the field-we do not use farrowing crates. Our chickens come from a hatchery in Eastern Pennsylvania. We desire to not only revitalize our land but also our community, so we buy local as much as possible.
