Afton Field Farm

Our Short Story: In 2002-'03 Tyler spent a year at Polyface Farm in Virginia as an intern with sustainable farmer extraordinaire Joel Salatin. When Tyler returned to Corvallis Oregon he started Afton Field Farm on about 10 acres. Over the years Afton has fluctuated from being a fairly large operation to a very small one on a variety of properties. We are currently just raising poultry now with Turkeys availabe for Thanksgiving and Christmas. Farming Methods: All of our animals are raised on pasture or in the woods using Managed Intensive Rotational Grazing methods. Out layer chickens, broiler chickens, & turkeys, get a large part of their diet from the pasture and woods and are also supplemented with a GMO-free, corn and spy free custom grain ration. Processing: We process all of our poultry on-farm. Marketing: We market to individual families in the Corvallis, Philomath, Albany area and the greater mid-Willamette valley area including Portland.
