We are a small family farm located in Central New York specializing in growing Shiitake mushrooms. We began our farm in 2005 with the desire to create a viable family business while using sustainable farming practices that brings the energy of man and the blessings of nature into harmony and offers a future to both our community and the environment. We see mushrooms as an underserved niche and a perfect local product. Specialty mushrooms, such as our shiitakes, cannot be shipped over long distances without a significant loss of quality. We grow our shiitakes as naturally as possible, outdoors on hardwood logs and pick them daily. We believe this method results in a high quality, nutritious product that cannot be purchased in stores.
