Garden Spot Farms

Welcome to Garden Spot Farms! We are rehabilitating an old farmstead that has been worked for over a hundred years, broken up, sold off, and now is being returned to production. When we look out at our pasture and forest, we don't see a future residential subdivision, but a productive small farm that replenishes the land and provides for our family! We raise and sell pastured poultry direct to you, the localvore. The pasturing process and locally sourced feed result in a delicious (and nutritious!) bird that will have your guests and family craving more! We are adding pastured pork to the farm this year, and will have halves or wholes for sale in October. These pigs love dandelions, vetch, alfalfa, and have been naturally raised. We can't wait to taste that good sunshine in every slice of bacon or porkchop! It's important to remember that being a localvore means changing up your shopping and food storage habits. Having a lot freezer space is a must if you're buying a hundred pounds of pork, or 4 fresh 5 pound chickens! Keep in touch with us via email on availability of fresh pastured poultry and pork.
