Description
Almosta Farmstead is a small homestead run by a small country-loving family. We raise Chickens, Ducks, Geese, Turkeys, Guineas, Peacocks, Quail, Livestock Guardian Dogs, Nubians Dairy Goats and Boer Meat Goats. All our birds are hand-raised with no antibiotics, naturally organic, cage-free and free range. This means they are only locked into a coop at night to protect them from predators and have open boxes for egg laying. Our Goats free range and are fed alfalfa. Chicken Eggs $4 Dozen Duck Eggs $6 Dozen We often have seasonal garden produce available. Please call ahead to check our availability. If you cannot make it into Catalina to pick up your farm goodies, we are in the city most Thursdays and may be able to make reasonable arrangements for delivery. If you are interested in any educational programs or a farm tour, please contact us to set up an appointment and check availability.
