Description

The Kucek Ranch has been a business in progress for over 80 years. It is now in the hands of the third generation who plan to move this farm into the future using education and hard work. Just as the generations behind us took risks with almonds, bees, cattle and other small money making opportunities, we plan to do the same while sharing with the community. Kucek Family Farms is now known as Dirt and Sky Farm, farming mostly walnuts. There is also about a half acre garden in place where produce is shared with the neighborhood, friends and family. We are looking to expand this operation to a UPick garden (meaning come, stay, eat!). We also currently have many varieties of fruit trees that are to be enjoyed. This includes figs, peaches, several types of plums, pears, apples, nectarines, mandarins, oranges and several types of persimmons. We look forward to sharing our bounty with a bigger population and over time improving our sustainability. In the years to come (2023) we will be offering baked goods and preserves all made in our families kitchen. We want to promote the celebration of food as a cornerstone of pleasure, culture and community
