Description
Glynwood is an agricultural non-profit organization whose mission is to save farming by strengthening farm communities and regional food systems. Its farm is located in Cold Spring, NY, in the lower Hudson Valley. The farm engages in a number of pursuits including raising a diversity of animals, a vegetable CSA, and composting. Glynwood markets its produce through a CSA offering its members over 35 different types of vegetables throughout our 24 week distribution season. The 2016 CSA season begins the first week of June and ends the second week of November. Shares are priced at $700 for the full 24 weeks or $365 for 12 biweekly pickups. Shares can be picked up at the Garrison Cafe or at our beautiful farm where you can also buy pasture raised Glynwood meat, eggs and other local products in our farm store. The share size is designed to supply the "average" veggie needs of a family of four or two vegetarian adults. There is no member work requirement although cherry tomatoes, flowers, hot peppers and perennial herbs are only offered as pick-your-own.
