Description

Foxhole Farm is a family-run farm that uses regenerative practices to grow food for the Miami Valley. We make farm management decisions that will positively affect the well-being of the whole farm system. That means that we not only focus on our plant health, but the environment that they are living in. Soil health and biodiversity serve as our best indicators of the farm's wellbeing. When the whole farm system is in balance, we are able to cultivate nourishing and flavorful food that we can bring to the local community. Here are a few of the regenerative practices we use on the farm: -No-till vegetable bed preparation and maintenance -Feeding the soil so that it may sustain life, using compost and other naturally-occurring soil amendments -No spraying of any kind (not even organically-approved substances) -Crop rotation -Habitat maintenance for birds and beneficial insects -Composting
