Description

Golden Delight Honey is a small business, located the northern piedmont of South Carolina, just a few miles south of Charlotte North Carolina. We specialize in the production of local raw wildflower honey, sourwood honey, chunk honey (extracted honey with chunk of honeycomb), spun honey (also called creamed honey) and cut honeycomb. Our Carolina raw honey is unheated and only lightly strained to remove bits of wax, propolis, and the occasional honey coated honeybee and collected from our honeybee yards in Mecklenburg County, North Carolina and Lancaster County, South Carolina. We keep our harvested honey from each bee yard bottled separately as each bee yard produces a different floral taste of honey. We also sell various honey products including Honeystix (naturally flavored honey in a straw), spun honey (also called creamed honey), handmade goats milk soaps and other varieties of handmade soaps, beeswax lip balm, bee pollen, propolis, pure beeswax candles, lotion bars, pure beeswax furniture polish, and many other items. If you own a restaurant or grocery store, please call or email for our wholesale bulk honey prices in gallon or 5 gallon containers. We also sell cases of bottled honey at wholesale rates too. If you are in or near Pineville, NC, stop by our booth at the Pineville Downtown Farmers Market on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm and Saturdays 8:00 am to 1:00 pm. Besides honey and beeswax candles, there is local organically grown produce sold by farmers in North Carolina and South Carolina. Attention Carolina Farmers: If you are in need of commercial honeybee pollination for your fruit and vegetable crops please call or email for our hive rental rates. Our Russian honeybee colonies were wintered in south Louisiana in late 2010 and early 2011 and are stronger than colonies wintered in the Carolinas due to more forage resources and warmer weather in south Louisiana. I can provide pollination references if you desire. If you have a honeybee colony infestation or a swarm lands on your property, please do not call an exterminator to kill them. We pick up swarms in Mecklenburg County, NC and Lancaster County, SC for a nominal charge to cover fuel. We do have to charge for colony removals from structures. Beekeepers do no do free removals.
