Description
Cinderblock Gardens is a Lancaster-local CSA (community supported agriculture) micro-farm that began in Spring of 2013. It is owner-operated by Jarrod & Kendra Tishhouse, who farm only heirloom varieties of vegetables, fruits, and herbs on their quarter of an acre, along with raising various varieties of true-breed chickens. All of their veggies, fruit, herbs, flowers, eggs, etc are raised according to strict organic standards (although due to prohibitive costs, Cinderblock Gardens is not currently USDA certified organic).
