Description
Started in 2011, Amethyst Acres began as an adventure to find an alternative crop that could be grown in small space, poor soil, extreme temperatures and still make a profit. We began with 100 plants of 5 different varieties. Of those, we have approx. 70 plants that survived year one and our soil. This year we planted an additional 600 plants and have had approx. 350 of those survive. We plan to propogate our own starters from the first year plants and rebuild and grow for the next several years.
