FCCF believes that everyone has the right to access fresh fruits and vegetables. Check out our Facebook page for more updates! My great great grandfather bought this farm and passed it along to his son's family back in 1907. My great grandfather, my grandfather, and my own father have all worked this sacred land. Now it is my turn to bring it back to it's own roots by converting the 60 surrounding acres into an ecologically sound and sustainably practiced operation. We maintain roughly 6 acres of organic alfalfa (planted autumn of 2012) in an area north of the house. This past autumn we planted an acre of different garlic varieties that will be available for seed or food purchase this season (August-October). We grow food year round in a passive solar hoop house and supply fresh greens, carrots, beets, radishes and herbs to a growing list serve of community members and grocers! Our CSA runs June-October.
