SIGN UPS NOW BEING TAKEN FOR THE 2013 GROWING SEASON. Please call us or email to get a spot on the CSA list! We have half shares (feed 1-2 people/week) and full shares (feeds up to 4 people/week) available. We look forward to growing your food! 2013 will be Big Lick's sixth year to offer community members our products. Most of our crops are sold through a CSA program serving Douglas County, OR. Excess vegetables and fruits are sold to restaurants and through farmer's market and beginning in 2013 at our on site farm stand. Big Lick Farm is committed to community involvement and we search for ways to make fresh, healthy food available to everyone. For community members who cannot afford the cost of a CSA share we always welcome work trades to keep costs low. Big Lick Farm believes in growing food in accordance with nature. We are certified naturally grown as we are committed to our clients health and to the health of our planet to grow our food without chemical fertilizers, herbicides or pesticides. We are happy to share our cultivation practices with our customers. At Big Lick Farm we focus on growing many heirloom varieties of fruits and vegetables.. We know heirloom fruits and vegetables provide variety and tastes which are not available through most supermarkets.. We are located outside of Myrtle Creek on the beautiful Umpqua River. We love to give tours and host potlucks. Big Lick Farm believes in strengthening communities through local, sustainable agriculture.
